About the organisation
Mallee Track Health & Community Services (MTHCS) is a multi-campus facility with a principal office located in Ouyen and service centres in Sea Lake, Patchewollock, Underbool, Murrayville and Manangatang. MTHCS provides a range of services including community and district nursing, a broad range of community and allied health services, early childhood education and care, and access to primary health care. In addition, acute medical care, urgent care and residential aged care are provided at Ouyen and Sea Lake.

The Chief Executive Officer provides executive leadership, operational management, and direction towards achievement of MTHCS’ Vision, Priorities, Objectives and Strategic Directions, in accordance with Governance Procedures, the Instrument of Delegation and Policies and Procedures. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will develop the services portfolio to capitalise on opportunities provided through health reform and digital technology advancements and ensure the specific needs and objectives of a rural health and community service are met, and links to the community and service partnerships are enhanced.
To meet the requirements of the role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business Management or Health with a relevant postgraduate qualifications and/or technical qualification. Ideally you will also hold membership or have affiliations with a Professional College or Association. You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills with a proven ability to successfully lead culture and organisational change, manage and motivate staff, promote the creation of positive workplace, wellbeing and develop teams. You will also demonstrate an ability to negotiate, advocate and work with a wide cross section of stakeholders and foster strong collaborative partnerships and working arrangements with other health and community service providers.
