About the role

  • Hybrid model, WFH 3 days a wk / 2 days a wk at the Coburg office
  • 12 mth fixed term contract with opp for extension and career development.
  • Close to public transport & all day free on-street carparking available.

The Project Coordinator –  Service Review will be responsible for consolidating two independent service reviews. The position will lead the development of a road map of priorities for the project. This position will also play a key role in the project governance committee (PGC), by leading the implementation of phase one of the project. The position will report into the Manager Quality & Customer Experience; however, the work will be overseen by the project governance committee.

The key responsibilities will include;

  • Play a key role in the project governance committee through project status updates, facilitating minutes and agenda, and seeking feedback on progress from key members.
  • Consult, develop, implement, and imbed a fit for purpose consumer entry point function in a timely and effective manner.
  • Review, consolidate, design, and implement intake documents that are aligned with The Better Care and Services Framework.
  • Facilitate stakeholder consultation group.
  • Develop program procedures, toolkits, training material.
  • Recommend process improvements to strengthen intake and front of house services.
  • Analyse current practice and work-flow processes by consulting and or working side by side with key stakeholders including service users and consumers. 
  • Keep up to date with key health reforms (e.g., aged care) to ensure recommended process improvements for client entry are appropriately aligned.
  • Support the project governance committee to revise the operating model inclusive of people and structures.
  • Providing information and regular support to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Aged Care sector and reforms. Have exposure to change and project management, including project analysis, research, systems analysis, developing and coordinating organisational-wide projects in a fast-changing environment. As well as have a passion for continuous improvement and innovation, a solid track record of supporting change management initiatives and  well-developed skills in the development of documents (client journey mapping, intake scripts etc).
