About the role

The Organisation:
No to Violence (NTV) is Australia’s peak body for individuals and organisations that work with men that use violence. It provides training, sector development, and advocacy across the sector. It also operates the Men’s Referral Service, providing a counselling service and referral pathways directly to men who use violence.
As a pro-feminist organisation, women and children are at the centre of what NTV does – by ending men’s use of family violence, families, individuals, and communities are safer.
The Role:
In this pivotal role, the Head of Services reporting to the General Manager Services will be responsible for leading and managing the strategic direction of the direct services delivery within the Men’s Referral Services (MRS). The Head of Services will play a crucial role in expanding and enhancing service offerings, while fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and NTV members.
Key result areas are to:
- Develop and implement growth strategy for direct services across all states
- Create and maintain systems, processes and policies to ensure high-quality and consistent service standards across all direct services
- Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with clients, NTV members, Government representatives, corporate and other funding partners, Police, Courts, contracted clients, other peak bodies, and advocacy bodies
- Lead, support, and manage the Services teams, continuing to build a culture of high performance
The Person:
- Qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or similar
- Extensive experience in service delivery to clients via a call centre or face-to-face model
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams at a strategic and national level
- Demonstrated political nous (understanding of State and Federal Government context)
Employment is conditional upon receipt of satisfactory references, Police records check and WWCC. regional and interstate travel will be required from time to time.
The Offer:
