Corporate Community Impact Launches

Delivering a new resource online is always exhilarating but this week has been a real high for the team in here at Pro Bono Australia as we launched our Corporate Community Impact email.
The email offers all the latest news relating to corporate community engagement from an Australian and global perspective and we are delighted by the flood of subscribers so far.
Over the years, an increasing number of businesses have begun to recognise that they must play a role in engaging the community beyond their shareholders or financial stakeholders.
The thinking behind this is to be able to contribute to social and environmental benefits and minimise or prevent negative impacts where they may occur as a result of their business operations.
Of course there is a huge difference between companies in the levels of understanding and activity in this CSR “journey” and we will be navigating those differences in the different stories we offer. We’ll also be launching a new part of our site where companies can profile the work they already do in the CSR/ESG area.
Our latest Impact resource allows us to provide some great expert and in depth discussion about where Australia is heading. (If you haven’t already subscribed to this free email you can do so here….)
CEO and Founder of ACCSR, Leeora Black has kicked off our expert opinion pieces with a look at the ‘very seductive social license to operate'.
And the buzz around Collective Impact and how it can significantly contribute to evolving the way social change happens in Australia is discussed by Social Sector Leadership Development consultants Dawn O’Neil and Kerry Graham.
We think we will create Impact around corporate community issues and hope you will join us.
