Connexxion in the NFP Sector - Adaptability
11 August 2015 at 11:00 am

National IT consultancy, Connexxion uses its team’s far-reaching experience developing cutting edge technology to provide Not for Profit customers with adaptable solutions and pairs those with an impressive range of support packages.

With offices in four states the Connexxion workforce includes teams of specialists working in Software, Support, and Consultancy Services.

Reflecting on his 10 years with Connexxion, including seven years as CEO and Director, Graeme Harrison-Brown said that despite – or perhaps because of – the challenges faced when dealing with such a large range of organisations and businesses it is his work within the Not for Profit sector that gives him the most personal satisfaction.

“Partnerships form the core of our operations,” Harrison-Brown said.

“If we can develop a relationship with our customers in the Not for Profit sector then we can work with them to develop solutions that perfectly suit their needs; solutions which can save them the time, money and resources necessary to fulfil the needs of their own clients.”

Connexxion’s main focus is on assessing and defining the requirements of an organisation, providing recommendations and implementing ICT solutions that enhance long-term value.

In 2014 Connexxion began working with a prominent global Not for Profit based in Melbourne to implement an ERP solution and mentor internal teams throughout the successful implementation the ERP solution.

Unit4 Business World (formerly known as Agresso) is the ERP solution handpicked by Harrison-Brown to empower people to better engage and create impact, while automating low-value repetitive tasks.

Unit4 Business World fully leverages and adopts the power of the digital era, including mobile and social capabilities paired with predictive analytics and machine-learning, resulting in advanced business insights that proactively alert people to areas that require attention. Unit4 Business World is the only system designed from the ground up for people-centric industries.

Connexxion’s CFO, Charmaine Daniel, said notwithstanding the considerable success of Connexxion’s main business lines, development of new capabilities never ends.

“A good example being the latest major addition to Connexxion’s software offerings, Virtual Warehouse.”

Virtual Warehouse is a state-of-the-art solution for international commodities trading markets. This leading solution introduces an unprecedented level of market transparency through the implementation of integrated supply chain and customer relationship management, the solution is able to provide a much more easily visible source and demand network.

“Whilst the visible supply chain benefits may seem like common sense, what this solution does differently is provide the market with knowledge of surplus products, shortages and even potential market collapse prior to the event,” Daniel said.

“Connexxion uses the team’s far-reaching experience developing cutting edge technology to provide Not for Profit customers with adaptable solutions and pairs those with an impressive range of support packages.

“For example,in the ACT, Connexxion conducts on-going works with leading community and Indigenous services organisations to ensure they can best harness the capability of their IT systems in the most cost effective manner.

“In QLD and SA, Connexxion also delivers award winning Facilities Management solutions to a number of Care focused organisations.”

Connexxion’s commitment is to the success of Not for Profit clients by leveraging technology to provide seamless end-to-end processes ensuring  that technology is both future proofed and outcome oriented.

In 2015/16 Connexxion is committing even more resources to the development of new solutions to reduce the time and cost it takes to effectively deliver services, raise funds and engage with stakeholders.
