SPONSORED: The Australian Catholic University is launching its flagship Graduate Certificate in Management of Not for Profit organisations in Queensland.

The University Qualification is delivered during eight weekend ‘intensives’ over 10 months and provides four units of credit towards further postgraduate study such as an Masters or Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration.

The specialised program is designed to prepare executives for the unique challenges facing the third sector and addresses areas such as Governance, Marketing and Fundraising, Finance and Worker Management.

ACU says the inaugural Sydney program was rated as one of the most relevant and key activities for professional and organisational growth by participants, who all hold senior management positions for well-known NFPs.

Expressions of interest are now being taken for the both the Brisbane program and the 2nd Sydney intake which launch early next year.

ACU is also hosting a Fundraising Masterclass for marketing teams of Not for Profits in Sydney.

The interactive three hour seminar will be presented by Fundraising guru Dr Ted Flack who draws from over 30 years experience to provide participants with practical frameworks for developing an effective fundraising strategy.

Areas of focus include:

  • Identifying fundraising advantage
  • The Donor Pyramid
  • Targeted Fundraising
  • Reputation Management
  • The role of CRM

The workshop takes place at the ACU campus in North Sydney from 5.30-8.30pm on Fri 30th November and costs $250 per organisation which admits up to three participants.
