The Victorian Law Foundation is calling on organisations with a great legal project to start planning their grant application.
Victoria Law Foundation awards $500,000 in grants each year for legal projects that benefit Victorians, funding large and small projects.
This week they encouraged potential applicants to contact the Victorian Law Foundation's Grants and Awards Manager to discuss projects before the cut off date.
General grants awarded annually by the Victorian Law Foundation are between $20,000 and $50,000, but more can be allocated if necessary.
According to the Victorian Law Foundation, “Our process for awarding grants is quick – around two months from the closing date for General Grants.”
Previous recipients include Youthlaw, radio station 3CR for its program that broadcasts from inside prisons, and the funding of a virtual interactive tour of VCAT.
Applications close in three months.
