Inaugural Australian Workplace Giving Awards
3 August 2011 at 4:17 pm

The Inaugural Australian Workplace Giving Awards, to be presented in Sydney by Australian of the Year Simon McKeon, aim to recognise and encourage best practice in the implementation and promotion of workplace giving programs and partnerships.

The awards celebrate leadership, innovation, collaboration and best practice in workplace giving by employer and community organisations.

The awards are presented by the Australian Charities Fund (ACF), a Not for Profit social enterprise whose vision is to see significant social impact through employers and community organisations working together.

The 2011 Awards will be presented at a function at NSW Parliament House by Australian of the Year Simon McKeon, who will also give the keynote address on the topic ‘Make Giving Count’.

There are six award categories in total. Four recognising employer organisations, one recognising community organisations and a joint award recognising collaboration between employer and community organisations.

Award categories and nomination criteria have been informed by the insights from ACF’s proprietary research with employees, employers and charities.
