FIA CEO Steps Down

Chris McMillan has resigned as CEO of the Fundraising Institute of Australia.

In a statement to members, FIA Chairman Leo Orland says the FIA Board has accepted Chris McMillan’s resignation as CEO, effective from Friday, July 29, 2011.

Orland says the FIA Board wishes to thank Chris for her considerable contribution to the FIA, particularly during the time of financial difficulty when she was instrumental in putting the FIA on a sound financial footing.

According to the statement, the FIA will continue business as usual, with an interim management team comprising Board directors Brian Holmes (Chair Elect), Lesley Ray (Immediate Past President), Derek Minett (Honorary Treasurer) and Leo Orland (Chairman) ensuring all programs and services will proceed as normal.
