Oprah Looking for Aussie Heroes

Need a little help to help others make a change? US superstar broadcaster, Oprah Winfrey and American Express are looking to give $100,000 to help a deserving Australian achieve their dream of helping others.
American Express is providing a $100,000 grant to someone who dedicates their life to helping others – with seven finalists being invited to attend the taping of the Oprah Winfery Show in Sydney.
The competition is calling for people passionate about a cause, who are dedicated to helping others realise their potential but could do much more with some help.
People are able to nominate themselves or someone they know for the competition.
Seven finalists and their guests will be flown to Sydney to attend the taping of the The Oprah Winfrey Show in Sydney on December 14th.
Entrants must act fast – Entries close 11.59pm AEDST on 21st November 2010.
All entries will be reviewed by the ’Enriched List’. These are a panel of judges who have realised their potential or devoted their time to enriching the lives of others.
The seven finalist will be visited by a professional camera crew to capture their story on video. The videos will be available on the American Express Facebook page for public voting to determine the winner of the $100,000 grant.
