Australia's first woman Prime Minister, Julia Gillard has been sworn in at Government House in Canberra.
Less than four hours after a party room spill where Julia Gillard was elected uncontested as the new Labor leader, she was sworn in by the Governor-General, Quentin Bryce.
Treasurer, Wayne Swan was also sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister.
Overtime, Julia Gillard has been involved in many issues involving the Australian Not for Profit sector from education to equal pay.
Not for Profit leaders around the country are adding their comments to today's historical political events.

It has been a long time coming but its here! We now have the first female Governor General, the first elected female Queensland premier and now the first female Prime Minister. Congratulations Julia Gillard – Prime Minister of Australia! As the twitter universe is saying…."The workers at Government House are rushing to repair the glass ceiling!!"
