Ambitious Australian Youth Leadership Project

INITIATE The Future is an ambitious project to get 500 Australian leaders of youth Not for Profit organisations together with representatives of businesses, government and universities all under one roof to explore their visions for the future.
Described as one of the biggest youth leadership conferences run by AIESEC Australia, its ambitious aim is to be a space to kick-start translating youth leader visions into actions.
Organisers say the conference will launch relevant projects aimed at solving youth (empowerment, leadership), sustainability (climate change, water shortage) and inclusion (migration, indigenous integration) issues and gain crucial and highly demanded skills in running an organisation.
Already lined up for the July 9 conference at the University of NSW are speakers like Bob Carr (The Former Premier of NSW), Peter Primrose (NSW Minister for Youth, Volunteering and Small Business) and Kerry Graham (CEO of Inspire foundation).
The Director of External Relations for AIESEC Australia, Laura Mariakinaite says youth, sustainability and inclusion are hot topics that the conference is taking on board and providing a space in workshops and breaks for young leaders to share how they tackle these issues.
She says the participants will also learn from experts in organisational management the skills required to execute a project or run an organisation
Delegates who register before April 26th will be able to attend INITIATE The Future FOR FREE.
