Donations from Market Researchers

Here’s an unusual source of donations. A leading independent automotive group, Summit Investment Australia, which carries franchisees for vehicle makers including Ford, Holden and Mitsubishi, is undertaking a large marketing project.

And it’s looking for volunteers in the Not for Profit sector who could take part in market focus groups in return for a donation.

Organiser Nicki Doble says the groups consist of ten people who represent a cross section of the community and would be required to attend a meeting of 1 to 1.5 hours at a local and convenient location.

She says they will take part in an open discussion about advertising and other subjects relating to the motor and finance industry.

Doble stresses the information is purely for research purposes. Participants are not required to buy anything and the information will not be passed on or sold to a third party.

For each participant from your organisation, Summit will donate $30.

Doble says it has been her aim to help charities wherever possible.

The current research is based in Sydney and Newcastle and is looking for three groups in July.

Summit also has offices in Victoria and Queensland so anyone who wants to contact Nicki Doble to register their interest in future projects can do so via telephone on 02 9748 7079 or e-mail at: nickid@e-motors.com.au.
