Christmas e-Cards - Reach Your Donors for Free

If you are in need of a last minute thank you note or Christmas card for your donors and don’t want to spend any money…well consider the electronic greeting cards on the Internet. Many are absolutely Free!
All you need is an e-mail address for your donor and a quick decision between a traditional greeting or an all-singing all-dancing animated greeting card and hey presto it’s done. No cost for the card, envelope or postage.
There are many electronic greeting card services but here is a selection of those that are free and have no strings attached.
The world’s largest site (so it claims) is Blue Mountain.com which is part of the “Excite” Internet group and has a huge selection of free greeting cards. The site’s own guarantee is that there are no hidden costs or gimmicks associated with sending or receiving an e-card. You can send up to 20 cards at one time however, there is a limit of 2000 (to stop large corporations misusing the service). Blue Mountain makes its money from other linked shopping sites and sponsors. Check it out at www.bluemountain.com.
Similarly 123greetings.com also offers free cards and the option to “send as many as you like”. Go to www.123greetings.com.
We mentioned Care2.com is our last e-Newsletter ( www.care2.com) and how it uses free e-cards to raise funds to save the forests and wildlife. There are several other sites that have free e-cards and every card sent ensures a donation to a particular charity. Take a look at www.e-cards.com which supports the World Wildlife Fund.
Or try www.cards4free.com, www.regards.com and www.freewebcards.com . There is sure to be something out there that takes your fancy and reduces your organisation’s Christmas costs.
