Toolkit for Community Builders

If you are interested in community renewal, grassroots community development, government funding, or research into community building, then the NSW Government’s Community Builders web site is for you.
Community Builders.nsw is a project by the Carr Government to help local community across the state share ideas and strengthen their community, providing community development information, and access to government funding.
Most of the information on the site can be found in colour coded modules. Each module offers practical information, funding facts, research papers, business ideas and even community case studies. Some of the issues being addressed on the site are public safety, stimulating employment and promoting reconciliation. Although parts of the site have not been updated for some time, some of the research and issues papers are well worth a browse.
NSW government departments are encouraged to use the site to consult on the development of policies, programs and projects, while the Premier’s Department is responsible for updating the site.
