Accountants Match-up Pilot - Update
17 April 2001 at 1:04 pm
The Victorian Skilled Volunteer Matching Pilot between Pro Bono Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) is going ahead in leaps and bounds.
Dozens of young accountants have now been successfully linked to a Not for Profit offering a vast range of services from financial planning, mentoring, fundraising, auditing and even physical work.
And the range of charities benefiting from this pilot is also extremely varied and includes children’s welfare, conservation, the aged and medical research.
ICAA organiser, Michael Nazzari says he has already heard many wonderful stories of young accountants meeting up with their partnered Not for Profit and forming many new friendships.
Stay tuned as more action on this project will be unveiled in coming weeks.
