Graphic Design Offer to NFP's
20 January 2003 at 12:01 pm
A lecturer in graphic design and new media at the University of Wollongong is looking to give his students some practical experience as well as helping out Not for Profits at the same time.
Marius Foley says one of the University’s third year classes is devoted to commercial practice to give the students an experience of working with clients.
He says students do design work for Not for Profit organisations at a small charge, to cover University costs.
As part of the trade-off Foley asks that the clients work with the students and provide a realistic project to work on; and that the client will pay the cost of producing the final material [e.g. printing a small booklet, or putting a website online].
Foley says students work to a 13 week session, beginning in March. The projects need to be something that could be produced in that time.
If your organisation would be interested in this project you can email us here at Pro Bono at probono@probonoaustralia.com.au and we will pass on your details to Marius Foley.
