National Economics Conference - NFP Offer

Business, community and government leaders are being given the opportunity to focus on national and international economic trends at a Melbourne conference later this month.
The National Institute of Economic and Industry Research will hold a Core Conference on Friday 22nd August 2003 at the Marriott Hotel in Melbourne.
The conference will run from 9am to 1.30pm and will focus on the medium term outlook for Australian and international economies.
The conference aim is to give participants the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the issues and the drivers that determine the medium term outlook.
The conference will then continue with a working lunch to allow the opportunity to discuss the issues raised as well as the chance at networking.
The speakers at this year’s Core Conference will be Dr Peter Brain, the Executive Director of the Institute and Craig Shepherd, the Institute’s Principal Economist.
The standard price of the conference is $495 however the NIEIR has offered Pro Bono Australia readers a special discount offer of $295. The first e-mail request for a registration form will receive a complimentary registration.
Delegates to the conference will be given a free browser which will allow access to the National Economics website. The new National Economics site provides the channel to economic data and analysis that forms an essential planning tool for business and government.
