22 June 2006 at 1:06 pm
Following on the success of the first series of free lunchtime lectures last year, Melbourne Community Foundation is offering another series in July 2006.
MCF founding board member, Hayden Raysmith will again lead the lecture on the topic of understanding ‘doing good’.
Raysmith has occupied key positions with the Victorian government including the role of Director of Youth Affairs followed by five years in the role of Director of Public Health. Previous to this, he was the Executive Director of the Victorian Council of Social Service and was instrumental in the establishment of the Victorian Community Foundation and R.E Ross House.
Raysmith continues to publish widely on social policy issues and is engaged as advisor and associate with a range of government, community and philanthropic organisations and projects.
MCF Executive Director Andrea Rumph says last year’s lectures on social policy were well attended, informative and provocative.
