Volunteering Australia Appoints Acting CEO

Volunteering Australia has appointed Julie Pollard as the Acting Chief Executive Officer for the next five months.

The announcement follows the recent resignations of long time CEO Shar Cordingley and her Deputy Kylee Bates.

Julie Pollard is currently the General Manager of Marketing and Communications with the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Australia. Prior to that, she worked with the Cancer Council of South Australia and the Australian Institute of Management in South Australia.

Pollard will take up her appointment on June 14.
