Businesses and their arts partners have until 15 May to nominate for the 2009 AbaF Awards.

These annual awards, presented by the Australia Business Arts Foundation, honour the best relationships between business, the arts and donors – including sponsorship, partnership and donations programs.

Awards will be presented in all states, with the winners going on to the national awards.

From small businesses to major corporations, from community arts ventures to national cultural flagships – the AbaF Awards are for everyone involved in private sector-arts relationships. There is no entry fee.

Nominees for the AbaF Awards are in line for these benefits:
-receive independent recognition of good practice-
-win a prestigious AbaF Award at state or national level-
-gain media coverage.-

The AbaF Awards at state level will be presented in September, and at the national level in October. All winners will be showcased in AbaF’s annual publication, The Gold Book.

AbaF is funded by the Commonwealth Government through the Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.
