Victorian Not for Profits are being asked to get together to plan for the future – by taking part in the Victorian Government’s Future Summit on Saturday 19th September.

Coordinated by The Office for the Community Sector, organisers say the Summit will provide an opportunity to work with NFP sector colleagues to determine common issues and challenge the way NFPs see the future.

Speakers will be followed by group workshops.

Organisers say this will be an opportunity to think differently about how the sector should respond to future challenges.

Questions to be explored include:
How to manage the impact of significant change to community demographics? How to retain cohesive and vibrant communities? What inspires about the future? How should Victoria’s NFP sector prepare itself for the future?

The Summit agenda includes guest speakers and group workshops:
Peter Batchelor, MP, Minister for Community Development Lynne Wannan, Director Office for the Community Sector, Jeremy Reynolds, Demographer Jason Clark, Mindworker from Minds at Work
