About the role
We’re looking for a professional Database Administration Officer with relevant experience who wants to join our team of 1500 employees and 1000 volunteers to make a difference on a full-time basis, working 38 hours per week based in Fitzroy.

THE ROLE
The Database Administration Officer is a critical part of BSL’s fundraising team with responsibility for processing and receipting donations, maintaining donor records and donor liaison.
- Ensure processing of all banking and reporting in a timely manner
- Provide a first point of contact for all donation enquiries
- Assist and follow through with enquiries from donors/members of the general public
- Ensure that donor information packs are up to date and stocked
- Ensure that all data-entry and housekeeping duties are performed as require
Salary will be in the range of $69,280.93 to $74,288.26 per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:
- Suitable administration qualifications or relevant experience
- Prior experience working in a fundraising department and an understanding of fundraising principles
- Experience coordinating and delivering events, preferably fundraising events.
- Experience using the ‘ThankQ’ donor management software.
- A high degree of donor management database literacy
- Proficient computer skills particularly within the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
