About the organisation
The Melbourne Holocaust Museum was established in 1984 by Holocaust survivors to
memorialise the six millions Jews who were murdered during the Holocaust. It has
grown into an internationally recognised institution dedicated to combating racism,
hatred, and prejudice by fostering acceptance and understanding.
About the role
- Diverse Fundraising role
- Build & nurture relationships with donors
- Part-time 0.8 position – Elsternwick location
In this strategic position, reporting directly to the Head of Engagement & Philanthropy,
your key areas of responsibility include growing sustainable revenue streams through
philanthropic funding bodies and building valuable partnerships with HNW donors,
while stewarding and developing the ongoing MHM donor journey.
Ideally you will be tertiary qualified, with at least 5 years’ experience working in a
similar role and have a demonstrated record of success. You will bring sound marketing
& communications skills, have ability & enthusiasm for meaningful networking, and
thrive in a small team environment.
