Individual Giving Manager

The Fundraising Department of BSL works to inspire support from the community to advance the organisation’s mission. The Individual Giving Manager is a critical part of the team. This role is responsible for driving performance and best practice fundraising across BSL’s individual giving program to ensure targets and exceptional supporter experiences are achieved. It will also develop and implement a relationship, marketing and communications strategy to engage current and potential donors, present opportunities for them to be involved and acknowledge them as valued stakeholders. You will provide excellence in donor engagement, management and care, with a strong focus on developing donor acquisition and conversion, direct mail and regular giving programs, and supporter retention, renewal and development activities. You will also achieve growth in the single cash and regular giving programs and support the development of a mid-donor program.

About YOU

• Tertiary qualifications in Fundraising, Marketing, Communications or a related field
• Minimum 7 years experience in a similar role within a for purpose organisation
• Demonstrated experience managing a range of programs including direct mail appeals, regular giving and middle donor programs
• Demonstrated understanding of marketing principles, segmentation tools, CRM, customer journeys and their implementation
• Customer service focused
• Highly-developed administration, computer skills and competency in Microsoft Program
• Aligned with the values and ideals of BSL and passionate about supporting its mission.
