Pro Bono Australia Launches Salary Survey 2017
15 November 2016 at 11:37 am
For the fifth consecutive year Pro Bono Australia is calling on not-for-profit executives and managers to take part in the sector’s largest benchmarking salary survey.
In partnership with chartered accounting group HLB Mann Judd, industry super fund HESTA and Beveridge Consulting, the survey will provide vital information around benchmarking data for key roles, salary levels for CEOs, executive and manager remuneration comparisons, professional development trends and remuneration policies used by organisations across the sector.
This year’s salary survey will provide a strong comparative analysis of growth within the sector and deliver some new insights around employee engagement and workplace benefits, including salary sacrificing and superannuation contributions.
“Pro Bono Australia’s Salary Survey is the largest and most comprehensive remuneration report providing both practical and in-depth information on selecting appropriate benchmarks and building a remuneration framework for Australia’s not-for-profit sector,” Pro Bono Australia CEO Matt Betts said.
“This vital resource ensures the sector can retain and attract the quality people it needs to drive the sector forward.
“We are calling on all senior managers and executives working in the sector to complete this short survey and be a part of this vital initiative.”
HLB Mann Judd is partnering with Pro Bono Australia for the third year to deliver this insightful research. An award-winning accounting and business advisory firm, HLB Mann Judd provides highly specialised, bespoke advice for the not-for-profit sector.
HESTA is the industry super fund for health and community services. Since 1987, HESTA has grown to become the largest super fund dedicated to this industry. It has more than 820,000 members and $36 billion in assets. It joins Pro Bono Australia this year to help deliver a comprehensive salary survey.
Beveridge Consulting, which partners with organisations to drive business results through workshops, conference sessions, remuneration consulting and candidate assessment, will again provide the rigorous survey analysis and compilation.
Beveridge Consulting CEO Andrew Beveridge said the 2017 survey outcomes would be significant in a year when not-for-profit organisations are facing a tighter financial environment and tough competition for talent.
“Not-for-profit organisations are having to do more with less, but still need to employ and retain the best staff,” Beveridge said.
“Benchmarking salaries allows organisations and employees to have a clearer sense of where they are placed in the market, and how employers can tailor packages around specific roles.”
Participants who complete the survey will receive 50 per cent off the purchase price of the final report and will go in the draw to have $500 donated to a charity of their choice.
The salary survey results will be published in March 2017. All responses will be kept strictly confidential.
