About the role

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Governance and Business Services projects including the development and implementation of a fit-for-purpose, whole-of-enterprise knowledge management system that enables the capture, recording, access and disposal of organisational knowledge from a range of sources including digital, paper-based, and human capital.
  • Lead the Policy Renewal Project by developing and/or reviewing governance & operational policies and standard operating procedures, taking into consideration current legislative and organisational requirements; and manage the Haven Policy Portal on SharePoint.
  • Lead oversight of compliance management across legislative areas relevant to the role.
  • Ensure staff are aware of their knowledge management responsibilities and guide and support all staff on the use of knowledge management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience in the use of project management methodologies (eg Agile) with a practical delivery outcome focus
  • Significant experience in contributing to the development of whole-of-entity knowledge management systems and their component parts, preferably in a for-purpose environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of a rigorous policy environment along with a demonstrated capacity to translate legislation and regulation into policy.
  • High level organisational skills and the ability to manage projects from conception to implementation.
  • High level skills in the MS365 suite of document management tools.
