We are seeking a determined and highly motivated Team Co-ordinator that can join the Program and Leadership team to deliver quality youth focused outcomes.
As the Team Coordinator of the First Response Youth Support Service, you will be part of an exciting and innovative new model and purpose-designed centre created to respond to youth homelessness via a place-based approach in the north-western growth corridor of Melbourne.
You will be proactive in leading and managing two components of the service:
- A mobile outreach service
- A youth refuge providing supported crisis accommodation.
Reporting to and supported by the Programs Manager, you will:
- Provide leadership and direction to a high functioning Mobile Outreach team (4 Case Managers) and the Crisis Accommodation team (6 Residential Youth Support Workers and 2 Case Managers);
- Hold responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our purpose-built youth refuge and the mobile outreach service;
- Ensure compliance in all operational areas including service delivery, risk management and quality improvement for clients and staff; and
- Establish a culture of service excellence where optimal outcomes for young people are achieved.
